Project Overview

The new 10-story, 472,000 sq. ft. office building will provide expansion and swing space for approximately 1,250 legislative and executive elected officials while the capital annex project is completed. The project design is carbon-free and extremely energy efficient.

Mechanical Highlights

• Cooling is provided via connection to the district central plant chilled water system

• Heating is provided via water-to-water heat pumps – to allow for a gas-free heating system

• Air handling via a low friction air distribution system – to allow for the aggressive low energy EUI consumption goals to be met

• The project is a fast-track progressive design-build delivery – under a stipulated sum delivery for FMB
