Project Overview

Design and construction of a full-service, 195,000 sq. ft., 250 rooms Marriott Autograph brand hotel. The hotel includes 20,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a 6,000 sq. ft. ballroom, executive boardroom with terrace, and 3,000 sq. ft. event lawn.

Mechanical Highlights

• Vertically stacked water source heat pump units with variable speed ECM motors serving guest rooms and suites

• Rooftop-mounted fluid coolers were selected to achieve colder supply water temperature to increase the energy efficiency of the water source heat pump units

• Condensing-type hot water boilers for high-efficiency heating

• High-efficiency single zone variable air volume air conditioning units serving ballrooms, restaurants, lobby, and back-of-house office spaces

• Fully automated web-based building automation system designed and installed by FMB BAS Division
