Project Overview

Three-story office building, two-story public building with classrooms/training and dining facilities and one-story Mission Critical building.  Scope includes complete mechanical, plumbing, Building Automation System, Security and Fire Life Safety.

 

Mechanical Highlights:

Title 24 Calculations
Project goal is to achieve a minimum of 25% below T-24 (2005).

Environmentally Responsible Design - Project design includes the following highlights:

Water Efficiency - Water use reduction; water reuse; enhanced water treatment.

Energy Efficiency; Chilled Water Thermal Energy Storage; High Efficiency Equipment Selections; higher supply air temperature (UFAD) and Displacement Systems; higher chilled water supply temperatures; low velocity ductwork; low pressure drop piping distribution; ultrasonic humidification; water and air side economizers; heat recovery; direct cooling.

Indoor Environmental Quality – Increased ventilation effectiveness (displacement and UFAD); increased ventilation; thermal comfort / controllability; enhanced monitoring; pollutant source control.
